June 19, 2018
Waves That Stray are back today with the release of their brand new video, “Mr Wild The Killer Child”. Filmed in and around the City of Toronto, today’s release will give you a surreal glimpse of the dark underbelly of life. This searing hot Track Of The Day is the third release from their self-titled debut album, Waves That Stray.
“Killer child a baby,
Left alone and lately,
Running wild chaotic,
Something takes over.”
See for yourself.
Waves That Stray is an ambient/industrial pop band that functions as the personal diary of Toronto songwriter and musician Sean MacLean.
Creating outside the box, where no rules apply Sean MacLean’s new act Waves That Stray delivers thought provoking smooth lyrics and music that captures Toronto’s energy and under currents.
MacLean has played in support of Blue Rodeo, The Flatliners, Dokken, IllScarlett, and Platinum Blonde. Quickly making a name for himself through his engaging and intimate live performances, MacLean was recently sought out to score the short film “Connections In The Dark” which explores the MBE rope bondage event that takes place in Toronto each year on Nuit Blanche. His most recent video “Brick by Brick” was a success with 20k organic views in two days Via Facebook. Setting his honest lyrics against a lush musical backdrop, Waves That Stray opens a window into the mind of a man with many stories to tell. The soon to be released album was recorded and produced by Devon Lougheed (Hot Panda, Sidney York) and mixed by Steve Chahley (U.S. Girls, Slim Twig) at SuperBonBonSound in Toronto’s lower west end.
The video was produced by Press It and edited by Floydian Images.
